Transport:  We do not fly flowers in from anywhere, there are no "air miles" associated with our products; they are grown in North Yorkshire.

Pesticides & Fertilisers:  We don't use pesticides......although we are sometimes driven to seek organic methods of controlling slugs so that we actually have some flowers to sell!  Our ‘fertiliser' is home-made, garden generated compost

Water: We try, wherever possible, to use harvested rainwater.

Our flowers are grown outside.  We have one polytunnel for raising seedlings - it is unheated.  The only electricity we use is for our heated seed propagator.

We love making compost.....( Judy's husband Jon takes it very seriously!!)
